In spite of its steady links with Austria, lasting from 1526 to the Great War, the most remarkable works of art here are reminiscent of Venetian influence, as in the large Villa Gorgo Maniago, Roncato (1600s) at Crauglio, embellished with stuccoes and frescoes attributed to Francesco Chiarottini and Francesco Fontebasso (18th-cent.), while some frescoes in the family chapel and in the local church of S. Canziano (16th-18th centuries) are directly attributed to Gian Domenico Tiepolo, who stayed in the villa for a short time, or, anyway, to the strong influence of his painting. At Nogaredo al Torre Villa Gorgo (picture), Maniago is a harmonious 1755 building with side barchesse, stable and historic park, today the venue of events and private location. At San Vito, in the parish church of SS. Vito and Modesto, built in 1778 on the site of an earlier church, the Baroque altar and paintings and later works may be admired.
