This municipality includes some of the most beautiful villas in Friuli, built between the 17th and 18th centuries by noble families. At Pavia are Villa Lovaria, Villa Mantica Frangipane, Villa de Pace, Villa Porcia; at Cortello, Villa Caiselli boasting a splendid cycle of frescoes by Giambattista Canal; at Lauzacco Villa Beretta; at Percoto, Villa Frattina Caiselli; at Persereano Villa Florio, rich in works of art and mementoes; at Risano, Villa Agricola Pighin; and finally at Ronchi di Popereacco, Villa Kechler. As for religious buildings, the parish church of S. Ulderico at Pavia is worth mentioning, with its altarpiece by Odorico Politi, frescoes by Sebastiano Santi (sec. XIX) and 16th-century polyptich by Giovanni Floreani.
