A rustic Roman villa with necropolis used to be in the neighbourhood of Cavenzano, as shown by the finding of the so-called navarca, an exceptional Augustan statue now exhibited in the Museum at Aquileia). The same neighbourhood also hosts the now dilapidated Villa Antonini (17th cent.), with its park and annexes, whose interiors were frescoed by Giulio Quaglio, and the 18th-century church of S. Maria Assunta. At Campolongo, the lovely small church of S. Leonardo (17th cent.), with its bell gable and portico, contains a remarkable wooden gilded and painted altarpiece (17th-18th centuries). In the 18th-century parish church dedicated to S. Giorgio works by Simone Pariotti (1700s), Gasparo Cordobense (1600s) and others are kept. The effects of century-old Venetian rule are still felt on the walls of both Villa Marcotti (1700s), now the Town Hall, and the bell tower of the parish church, where St. Mark’s Lion makes a fine show.
